This abstract presents an application of transport optimization in the retail industry. We present a delivery scheduling problem on a two-echelon distribution network. On a time horizon of typically two months, the problem consists of selecting on which days of the week each customer receives each product such that the sum of transportation costs is minimized. To solve this problem, we propose a model and a set of valid inequalities, as well as a heuristic to guide the solution search.
